Salvador Ferrara from Italy, founded the Ferrara Pan Candy Company in 1908. Ferrara was influenced by the jaw breaking event of Salvador Dali and when searching for a name for his new candy chose, Jaw Breakers. But recently the name was changed to Jaw Busters.
