Abraham Lincoln was arrested for defecating in public at the age of 17. The charge was later dismissed and his record sealed.

Uh, no.. Lincoln was never arrested for anything. But, since you say the record was sealed you don't have to prove anything.

This is a bogus fact, probably started by some drunk college frat boy. Lincoln was NEVER arrested. I completely concur with Xetheare. This is a pathetic fraud. Not only was Lincoln never arrested, but back then "charges" and "records" were informal. Records were only kept for those people imprisoned for crimes.

Abraham Lincoln WAS arrested; but they have the reason wrong. He was arrested and held briefly by military police. The reason for the arrest was treason.
