I searched and could find no reference to Malcolm X ever owning a poodle, much less one named "Num-num". So, you're pretty much just making these up, right?

Poodle-Doodle....the Factropolis Posting didn't say WHEN he had the pet, which means it could have actually been in his childhood, therefore no posted documentation would necessarily be included in his website information. As a matter of reference, I don't believe the historical pet ownership of most noted individuals is factually recorded.
Again, limited reseach by an Anonymous poster leaves little to be considered.

I will accept the possibility that Malcolm X owned a poodle named Num-Num as a child. But that's not what the "fact" said, was it?
The "fact" began with the words "Civil rights activist". Was Malcolm X a civil rights activist as a child? Was Malcolm X even CALLED "Malcolm X" as a child? I sincerely doubt it, but I'll find a biography about him after lunch to see for myself. If Factropolis meant to imply that he owned the dog as a child, they should have said so. The "fact" is misleading at best, and completely wrong in all likelihood.
Thanks for playing, though.

Mr. Anonymous,
Again I have to question your logic. If Factropolis has used any name other than Malcolm X would you,, or anyone else have known who they were referring to?
You read too much, or too little, into a Title. As a suggestion you might want to consider expanding your mind and your searching before commenting.
I know it must be frustrating to continually have to publicly admit to being unsure, but who's fault is that????

All of this nitpicking isn't addressing the fact that there's NO EVIDENCE whatsoever that Malcolm X ever owned a poodle. You said so yourself: "As a matter of reference, I don't believe the historical pet ownership of most noted individuals is factually recorded." Well then, from where did Factropolis get this? I stand by my assertion that Factropolis is making most if not all of these "facts" up.
In fact, it is NOT frustrating to be unsure. Uncertainty means that I'm looking for answers. What really bothers me is folks who have unwarranted certainty. Like, you know, certainty with absolutely no supporting evidence.
One last thing: admitting to the possibility of being wrong is not the same as admitting to being wrong. I still need to see some evidence (not just the possibility of evidence) before I'll take anything as gospel. I don't know why nobody's comprehended that yet.
Well, I could speculate, but I'd hate to admit being uncertain...

Mr. Anonymous,
Forgive me, I failed to respond to your previous comment.
You havn't provided any evidence to the contrary either, so....
At this point, I guess it really doen't matter, since you have evaporated from the scene, well except for those comments posted by your alter ego, A. Mouse.
It's amazing to me how such a self appointed "authority" on everything suddenly can't hang with the big dogs.
