The lungs, when removed for transplant, can survive outside the body longer than any other organ.

according to TransWeb.org the kidneys last longer than any other organ when outside the body for transplant.

It's the kidneys, not the lungs. The kidneys can go up to 3 days before being transplanted...the lungs NOT. Who writes these facts? The lungs are transplanted within about 5 hours tops! They are Flown! not the kidneys.
